Leg Vein Treatments

We utilize the Sciton Profile 1064 laser to offer effective treatment for vascular lesions including spider veins, small varicose veins, facial vessels, cherry angiomas, and more. We can successfully treat both blue and red vessels up to 3mm in diameter. 2-3 treatments are usually needed, 8-10 weeks between each treatment.

Sciton ArticPeel

Sun damaged and  aging skin makes us look older and less attractive.  The Artic Peel is a minimal-downtime, pain free light laser that improves damaged skin with no medications, anesthesia, or prolonged recovery. The Arctic Peel uses lasers, which chill the skin during the procedure and is the latest in skin rejuvenation providing immediate visible results after the first treatment and continued improvements with successive sessions. The Sciton utilizes a short-pulsed Erbium laser and high-techlaser scanner to ablate the outer layers of the skin at precise depths. We offer these "peels" at customized levels to meet your individual goals for skin rejuvenation and health - from 4 - 10 microns. This treatment delivers excellent results for poor skin tone, fine lines and wrinkles, acne scars, sun-damage, etc. One LaserPeel is the equivalent of 4-6 microdermabrasion treatments with the added benefits of long-term collagen remodeling and immediate visible result. Depending on how your peel is customized to your individual skin, we may recommend anywhere from 1-5 treatments.

What are the after-effects of the Procedure?
Depending on skin type, some patients may experience redness and light flaking a few days after the procedure.

Is there any pain?
Your skin is chilled with cold air during the procedure and the laser is not felt. Afterward, you may experience a mild sunburn-type discomfort that is easily controlled with Tylenol or ibuprofen.

Is there any post-procedure care?
Our medical esthetician will recommend the preferred skin care line to aid and maintain results.

How many Arctic Peels are needed?
We usually perform a series of three peels, but results may be seen with one procedure. We will repeat treatment if necessary.

How does Arctic Peel differ from light chemical peels?
Chemical Peels often need pre-treatment and the depth of the peel varies. The Arctic Peel is much more precise.

What about Microdermabrasion?
The Arctic Peel goes deeper than microdermabrasion and with much more precision. Unlike microdermabrasion, which shows minimal effects even after many treatments, the Arctic Peel shows visible improvements after one treatment and continues to improve with successive treatments.
 

Sciton Micro Laser Peel

The Micro Laser Peel is the latest in skin rejuvenation. The Sciton utilizes a short-pulsed Erbium laser to ablate the outer layers of the skin at precise depths. WE offer these "peels" from 15-50 microns. This treatment delivers excellent results for poor skin tone, fine lines and wrinkles, acne scars, sun-damage, etc. One 10 micron MicroLaser Peel is the equivalent of 4-6 microdermabrasion treatments. You will experience 7 or more days of redness and/or peeling with this procedure. Depending on your skin and the depth of the peel, we may recommend anywhere from 1-4 treatments.
 

Intense Pulse Light Acne Therapy

Intense Pulse Light (IPL) has now proven to be one of the most effective acne therapies available today. In many cases, we can prevent our clients from needing to go on aggressive oral medications such as Accutane or long-term antibiotics. The shorter wavelengths of IPL, in the blue-light spectrum, attack p-acne bacteria on the surface and in the sebaceous gland. We recommend a series of 10 treatments, once every week. Along with a home skincare program designed for acne-prone skin, you can experience significant long-term clearance.
